Viet Nam will allow businesses to import boneless beef under
30-month-old from France from May 1, the Ministry of Agriculture and
Rural Development has announced.
Viet Nam and France have agreed on the necessity to remove trade
barriers in market approaches through bilateral dialogue, including Viet
Nam lifting a ban on French beef.
Viet Nam is reviewing the possibility of opening of its market to
French beef, which was banned from the country for 16 years because of
mad cow disease.
